Competitive sports have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I was fortunate to experience a variety of different sports until I committed to playing university basketball. It was this opportunity where I truly learned about the relationship between mental health and performance. My long-term goal has always been to work with athletes and their support systems, and my experiences as an athlete and a coach solidified my desire to support those who may be struggling to reach their full potential.
My broad education and experience as a teacher, coach, and athlete, have all helped me develop the necessary skills to understand the importance of goal setting, gaining confidence, and building resiliency, and I want to help you do the same!
Through a client-centred approach, my aim is to help you develop the tools to navigate the stressors that life throws our way - whether or not they are sport related. I enjoy working holistically with clients to consider all aspects that may be impacting your life. Through this approach, we will collaboratively set goals by utilizing your personal strengths and values to help guide your treatment and have you living in the most meaningful way you can.
