Get to know Esther
I believe people have what it takes to grow into their fullest, most capable selves, and my role is to help create the conditions for that growth, gently, at a pace that feels manageable and always in the direction you want to go.
My approach is humanistic and existentialist, rooted in the belief that people are inherently motivated toward growth and meaning, and that real change happens when someone feels truly seen. Through my clinical training and 5+ years in professional mental health and non-profit spaces I have served a broad population navigating trauma, PTSD, and significant psychosocial stressors, often within systems that made access to care difficult. That experience shaped how closely I pay attention to the practical barriers standing between people and the support they need, not just the clinical picture.
I draw from various modalities including a solution-focused framework, EFT, CBT, Narrative Therapy, and Existential Therapy, with training currently underway in EMDR. I work with individuals, couples, families, and adolescents (age 10 and up), with particular focus on complex trauma, identity formation, depression, anxiety, life transitions, relational difficulties, and emotional dysregulation. Additionally, family and group systems are a close area of focus in my practice, especially communication and attachment repair, helping people build the empathetic connection that allows real change to happen in a shared therapeutic space.
I've always been a person of many disciplines, growing up in the performing arts and competitive sports, and now finding expression as a creative through writing and speaking. A significant part of my work is rooted in that same world: supporting anyone whose identity is closely tied to performing at a high level, whether that's on a stage, in competition, or in a boardroom. My work here often centers on what happens when performance identity is disrupted: injury, burnout, a plateau, a transition out of the spotlight, or simply the pull toward the next level of growth.
If you're navigating a period of growth, disruption, or transition, I'd welcome the opportunity to work with you!
