Get to know Allison

True wellness isn't just about managing symptoms; it’s about nurturing your entire self—mind, emotional landscape, and spirit. My therapeutic approach is built on this conviction, offering you a holistic, person-centered path toward a genuinely meaningful life.

I believe in working collaboratively with you, leveraging my comprehensive background to recognize the vital interplay between your psychological health and overall vitality. In a safe, non-judgmental space built on openness, inclusivity, and respect, we’ll navigate your unique journey together.

My path to becoming a clinical psychologist was shaped by my own experiences navigating the pressures of performance, bouncing between competitive sports and the music stage. The anxiety, focus challenges, and setbacks I faced taught me early on about resilience. This journey deepened my understanding of facing internal and external demands, and it drives me to help others develop the mental skills needed to thrive, not just perform.

Today, I integrate clinical training with this personal insight to offer an approach that is both deeply compassionate and grounded in evidence-based psychological practice.

I have an interest in the psychological impact of concussions, recognizing that recovery affects both mental health and cognitive function. I use evidence-based approaches to address post-injury challenges such as anxiety, cognitive fatigue management, and identity shifts. We will develop targeted coping strategies and emotional regulation skills to manage symptoms like irritability or mood swings. My goal is to help you regain control, rebuild confidence, and foster the mental resilience needed to support your neurological healing and return to a meaningful life.

I understand the courage it takes to seek psychological support. My goal is to create a secure environment where you can freely explore your inner world and gain deep insight.

In our work together, we will:

  • Explore your core strengths to build confidence and resilience.
  • Enhance emotional regulation skills using established psychological principles.
  • Develop practical coping strategies for life’s complex challenges and transitions.

If you’re ready for an integrated approach that honours your whole self—mind, body, and spirit—I look forward to connecting and supporting your journey toward profound well-being.

Why work with a student therapist?
